About the University Records Manager

Anne Marie Phillips is Princeton's first University Records Manager. She is tasked with establishing a formal records management program for the University and works closely with executive, academic, and administrative departments in achieving this goal. Prior to her current position, Anne Marie was the Assistant University Archivist at Yale University, managing the Archives 300 project, an effort that resulted in a record retention plan intended to deliver historical documentation to the University Archives and allow for the timely destruction of non-permanent records. Anne Marie previously held records management and archives positions at Babson College, The Free Library of Philadelphia and Philadelphia Department of Records, and at the Central Administration of the State University of New York. Anne Marie has a BA from Wellesley College, an MLS with a concentration in archives and records administration from the State University of New York at Albany, and is a Certified Records Manager (CRM).
